Peach, Rosemary, and Bourbon, Soda

Happy Cocktail Thursday! I’m keeping it short and sweet today and giving you guys a great recipe to use up those peaches. Hope you enjoy!

Recipe: serves 1

Ingredients:

2 oz Bourbon

1 oz Rosemary peach simple syrup (recipe to follow)

1 tsp lavender, peach vinegar (optional)

1 tsp lemon juice

Soda water

To make the simple syrup:

In a small sauce pan, add 1 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, 1 chopped peach, and 1 stem of rosemary.

Place sauce pan over medium-high heat.

Sitr to combine and continue to simmer until sugar is dissolved.

Remove from heat and let cool for 30 minutes. Once cool, strain syrup into a mason jar or resealable container. Store in fridge for 3-4 weeks.

To make the cocktail:

In a glass, add bourbon, syrup, vinegar and lemon juice. Stir to combine.

Fill glass with ice.

Top with soda water.

Enjoy!
