Proscuitto Wrapped Blue Cheese Stuffed Dates

Keeping with the finger foods/appetizer theme for the holidays! This recipe is one of my faves. Prosciutto. Wrapped. Blue Cheese. Dates. Need I say more? Oh yes, served warm and drizzled with honey. These dates are everything you want in one single bite. Sweet, salty, creamy and DELICIOUS!

Entertaining Tips:

  1. Stuff and wrap the dates the day before and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Then you just need to pop them in the oven to warm.

  2. Don’t forget to drizzle with honey. It’s a bit more messy but so so worth it!

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside.

  3. Pitted dates should already be sliced down the side but if you can’t find the slice, just make a slit lengthwise down the date.

  4. Open date and stuff with a small chunk of blue cheese. Squeeze to close date around the blue cheese.

  5. Take a slice of prosciutto and slice lengthwise into 4 strips.

  6. Take one strip and wrap around date.

  7. Place on lined baking sheet.

  8. Continue this process with the remaining dates.

  9. Once complete put the baking sheet in the pre-heated over for 5-7 minutes to warm through.

  10. Once warmed remove from baking sheet and place on serving plate.

  11. Drizzle with honey.

  12. Serve warm and enjoy!
