Twisted Painkiller

I never considered a tropical “Tiki” cocktail to be a good cocktail. They’re sweet and lacked any sort of depth. My mind was immediately changed when I visited a bar called Test Pilot in Santa Barbara, CA. Test Pilot is a Tiki bar that truly understands how to make a killer cocktail.

With summer approaching and the world slowly opening up again I thought we all may need a little tropical feeling in our life. This isn’t you’re traditional Painkiller since I make it with Bourbon and added a little Orgeat but it gives the same tropical vibes. Whether you’re in your own backyard or sitting poolside this cocktail will make you feel like you’re on vacation.

If you’re not a sweet cocktail drinker, just top with soda water. That’s how I prefer it :)
